It is said that a mystery . . .

. . . is simply that which the human intellect cannot comprehend; a mystery is somewhere that logic alone can never touch. Nevertheless, philosophers tell us that our true Intelligence, our potential to KNOW, is infinite . . . there is no limit.

        And it is through the heart, with its infinite power of unconditional love, that we reach where the intellect cannot go. So, little by little, eventually each of us will be drawn to turn inward to this deeper knowing within our own hearts. And there, we find this inner wisdom already woven so deeply into life that we often don’t realize how much we already express it. But more and more we each come to live our lives from this still, small voice of Love hidden within our secret Heart of hearts.

        And then, we are called mystics.

The purpose of these pages . . .

. . . is to explore the mystical side of a few spiritual traditions, as this writer has encountered them. Then you simply relax, trusting your own heart to lead you on your own completely unique journey. And the inner journey is one of infinite delight - of magic, mystery, unexpected synchronicities, and creative splendor. Mystics are simple people like you and me, who just make slightly different choices . . . living in the present moment, listening ever more closely for the still, small voice within our own hearts.

Hence it is our human work . . .

. . . each of us one by one, to let our attention relax into the heart, and come to know who it is we really are . . . what Intelligence really means, and wisdom; our own essence of pure, unconditional love. This is the mystical journey to the Source, to That which gave us being. And each of us will eventually travel it. This journey is the essence of Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sufism, Christianity, and all true religions. In fact, religion is not even necessary; the mystical journey is the foundation of life.
