FLAMING RAINBOW BOOKS is a not-for-profit organization chartered in Washington State, near the town of Glacier, in the foothills of Mount Baker in the North Cascade Mountains.

OUR MISSION

. . . is to create beautiful books,

splendid books that inspire people

to be the best they can be. And, to present wonderful events and programs, based on these books.

The imprint FLAMING RAINBOW BOOKS recalls the great vision of Black Elk,

a medicine keeper of the North American Continent, in 1872.

    The First Grandfather spoke again:

    “ . . . and they shall take you to the high and lonely center of the Earth                            

    that you may see; even to the place where the sun continually shines,    

    they shall take you there to understand.”
