FLAMING RAINBOW BOOKS
FLAMING RAINBOW BOOKS
WELCOME
FLAMING RAINBOW BOOKS is a not-for-profit organization chartered in Washington State, near the town of Glacier, in the foothills of Mount Baker in the North Cascade Mountains.
OUR MISSION
. . . is to create beautiful books,
splendid books that inspire people
to be the best they can be. And, to present wonderful events and programs, based on these books.
The imprint FLAMING RAINBOW BOOKS recalls the great vision of Black Elk,
a medicine keeper of the North American Continent, in 1872.
The First Grandfather spoke again:
“ . . . and they shall take you to the high and lonely center of the Earth
that you may see; even to the place where the sun continually shines,
they shall take you there to understand.”
And as he spoke of understanding, I looked up and saw the rainbow leap
with flames of many colors over me.” Black Elk

Water Crystal Corner
Masaru Emoto, a wholistic health practitioner in Japan, was looking for a way to express what he was learning about energy and consciousness . . . and he found that water, when frozen into crystals, could make human consciousness visible. Then he spent a few years in the USA, and trained as many people as he could in what he had learned.
Click on a crystal to explore how it may correlate with one of the world’s great spiritual teachings.
PROGRAMS:
We offer these programs free of charge, upon request, for groups of any size.
Contact Virginia, (360)599-1651, or use e-mail button below.
1. MOUNT BAKER; THE STORIES BEHIND THE BEAUTY.
Two different 45 minute histories in beautiful slides...a fascinating recollection of the people and places around the North Fork of the Nooksack River from Jake Steiner, whose parents homesteaded near Mt. Baker in 1898 . . .
These programs are often given at local libraries, or for organizations interested in local history.
2. MESSAGES FROM WATER & HEART
The Water Crystals of Dr. Emoto . . . A Song For the Earth.
Masaru Emoto of Japan studies the secrets of life through his work with water crystals. He spent two years in the U.S. recently, and this half-hour program is given by one of the people he trained while he was here. We have given this presentation at retreats, also bookstores with literature program series.
In photos and images we see how Masaru Emoto’s research developed,
and its meaning for all of us. . .

3.THE HEART OF UNDERSTANDING - Lecture & Discussion
We meet at a private home in Glacier for a few hours.
A contribution is requested, but optional...
We explore our own power, wisdom, and healing, through the water crystals of Masaru Emoto, plus myth, legend, and symbolic images. . . and through discussion, look at how these express in our own lives. Then, if time and weather permit, we take a walk to somewhere of local interest, perhaps to the Nooksack River.
