~ MEDITATION...for this event, a very special meditation that takes place perhaps twice a year... it is an empowerment ceremony from The Great Council of the Divine Grandmothers, led by Gina Angove-Strickland.
In every continent, the ancient people have understood our interconnection to a nurturing aspect of creation that loves and understands us flawlessly, tenderly... and now here in the riverine prairie heartland of North America, we affirm our own remembrance. All those who may feel drawn to this meditation, men and women both, are very much invited and welcome.

~ FOOD...the empowerment takes place as a gentle and joyful meditation-in-motion; and afterward we enjoy a potluck brunch. So just bring whatever seems pleasing, easy and good to eat.
~ DREAMS...you are invited also for a dream workshop... the ancient matriarchal language of symbols and images, bringing us understanding that transcends the everyday confines of time and space. We listen, and help each other know these deeper dimensions of who we are - the unique journey of what it means to be human.
~ COST...that is for each person to discern, your own knowing. As our own inner wisdom continues to unfold, more and more we come to ‘know’ how to offer, and how to receive...

The Divine has come in the form of the Grandmothers because this work is about the feminine principle, yin. “We will be an easy form of the Divine for people to access. We are comforting and welcoming; we are a nurturing presence. We give away, we help, offer and hold. We create a safe container for the family of life.”

It is time for the world to return to the nurturance, love and comfort of the Mother. Conquest and aggression have been taken as far as they can go without destroying all life. Energy must now turn to supporting life - to greater compassion, greater understanding, to building wisdom rather than accumulating knowledge...

Humankind’s vision is obscured at this time and many live in fear. The light within is actually great, but the light one sees coming in from them is small. Step into the light now...step into the light and own it...what good ever came from hiding in the dark?

There must be new goals now: life affirming, life enhancing goals that deepen the experience of being human...because one feels loved...because one is love.

Those who receive the empowerments will embody the message for others...it is the message that is important...the empowerment holds the message steady.

Men are welcome...however, only men who already carry a balance of yin and yang within themselves will be drawn to this...men are welcome to the work of the Net of Light.
